Bellevue Hill, NSW
Project Overview
During a 15 month construction period, this house underwent extensive building and refurbishment. The building works included the construction of a brick and tile double garage, a stone fence, a brick-paved driveway and an adjoining plant room for the air conditioning equipment.
The house was extended by the addition of two large sandstone paved balconies and a kitchen extension. In addition, a basement area of the house was excavated and refurbished to create a billiard room, living area, laundry and guest room.
The renovation required extensive plumbing works and complete electrical rewiring. Bathrooms were completely refurbished in marble, granite, sandstone and timber parquetry.
Client Testimonial
“… Peter O’Carroll is a very experienced professional and competent builder. He is a good organiser and from my experience very reliable. Peter understands and has an appreciation of high standards of finishes. I found that the men working for him were polite, competent and well directed.
“The building works took approximately fifteen months to carry out. In some cases Peter O’Carroll had to co-ordinate sub-contractors, for example the kitchen supplier, water irrigation system contractor, painters and air conditioner installer.
“The nature of some of the works necessitated work over and above the originally quoted plans and I found Peter to be fair and reasonable in his charges for “extras” which were well documented. I know my architect is of the same opinion as myself in so much as Peter has done a very good job.
“I have no hesitation in recommending Peter O’Carroll as a builder and I respect his knowledge, patience, professionalism and integrity. I will use him again in the future.”
